INCOMPLETE — The Story Wasn’t Finished

Some albums are created when everything comes together.
Incomplete was created when everything was still coming apart.

Following the intense period represented by The Traverse, The Prerequisite, and The Third Quarter, LZThir13 continued building his catalog while real life remained unpredictable.

There was still more music to make.

More ideas to explore.

More experiences to turn into something creative.

But there was also something missing.

Completion.

Incomplete captures that feeling.

It represents an artist trying to construct something lasting while life continually interrupts the process. The circumstances weren’t perfect. The timing wasn’t perfect. The journey wasn’t finished.

And maybe that was the point.

The title Incomplete isn’t an apology for what wasn’t finished. It’s a statement about the reality of the journey.

Because an unfinished story isn’t necessarily a failed story.

Sometimes it means there is still more to come.

For LZThir13, this album became another artifact from a period of relentless creation—a time when multiple projects were being developed while he was simultaneously trying to survive circumstances that made maintaining a creative career extremely difficult.

Instead of waiting for the perfect moment, he kept putting music into the world.

That’s what makes Incomplete part of the larger LZ story.

It isn’t isolated.

It belongs to the period where one album led into another, ideas overlapped, circumstances changed, and the catalog continued expanding despite everything happening outside the music.

The work wasn’t finished.
The journey wasn’t finished.
The story wasn’t finished.

It was simply…

INCOMPLETE.

Sometimes the most important chapters are the ones still being written.
