Teleportation

Teleportation

When I saw Deja Vu I knew this technology existed, and so I did some research on the subject and this is what I found.

In the 2006 movie Déjà Vu, starring Denzel Washington, the central technology used is a fictional surveillance system called “Snow White.” This system is portrayed as a highly advanced government tool capable of reconstructing and monitoring past events in near real-time.

Technology in the Movie:

1. Snow White System

• This technology is described as using satellites, surveillance feeds, and quantum physics to recreate and observe past events exactly 4 days and 6 hours before the present.

• It supposedly stitches together electromagnetic signals and reconstructs an interactive, real-time visual of past events.

• The system allows operatives to observe and follow individuals without them knowing, providing a “window” into the past.

2. Time Window & Wormholes

• The movie suggests that Snow White isn’t just a passive surveillance system but actually opens a stable Einstein-Rosen Bridge (wormhole).

• This means the system doesn’t just display past events—it can send objects, and eventually people, back in time under specific conditions.

3. Time Travel & Causality

• The technology is ultimately used to send Denzel Washington’s character, ATF agent Doug Carlin, back in time to prevent a terrorist attack.

• This raises paradoxes, as his actions in the past directly influence the future, questioning the deterministic nature of time.

Real-World Basis:

• The concept of observing past events through residual electromagnetic waves is purely science fiction.

• However, the movie does incorporate real theoretical physics, such as discussions on wormholes and quantum mechanics, but with creative liberties.

• The Department of Defense and DARPA have researched predictive surveillance and data analysis, but nothing close to Déjà Vu’s level of time manipulation exists.

So far they can only transmit information but I think this is only the beginning, and only a matter of time before we do human teleportation.
